” The best exercise for strengthening the heart is reaching out and lifting people up” – Walk Thru The Bible
How many of you have lifted someone up or encouraged someone? How did it make you feel?
Matthew 12:50 NIV “For whoever does the will of my father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother”
God tells us to encourage each other, carry each others burdens and to correct each other when we sin. We do it for our “Blood” brothers and sisters why not follow God’s word and do it for our “Spiritual” brothers and sister. Go lift someone up today and make it an everyday thing not a once in a while type of thing.
God Bless

What type of woman are you aspiring to be? I think this is a great question to ask yourself daily in the form of a self check or a test of your faith. The woman who we are aspiring to be is the type of woman our little girls will aspire to be and the type of woman our young men will aspire to have. I am writing this blog because I feel that us believers are falling into the sin of idolatry so much that it is very common too common in fact. It saddens me because if we have children of our own or someone else’s child who looks us and we are leading down them the wrong path by our actions.
I think so many people who call Beyoncé and Rihanna and Nicki Minaj and others their idols do not realize that they are committing a sin, that is in a way saying God you’re not that important to me after all. Why do we allow a world that values sex over modesty entice us? Why do we say it’s okay for another woman especially a public figure or celebrity to show off their body? When did revealing what the good Lord gave you become sexy and worth more than your integrity and self-worth? How can we get mad at our men who want nothing but sex from us? “We need to stop committing spiritual Adultery! (Life application Study Bible)”.
The Definition of Idolatry is:
“Those who worship idols; blind worship or admiration of an undeserving object.”
– Life Application Study Bible
We as believers need to do better, the world does not go by the gospel we speak but the gospel we live. That is just how the world is now. As the saying goes actions speak louder than words. What does our actions say when we are wearing revealing clothes, singing these secular sexual songs and dancing the way these things do? Especially in front of your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews and any other child that looks up to you. You are literally raising a hypocrite christian child or possibly turning a non believer/baby Christian to stumble. I think this is apart of the reason why people say I don’t like Christians and I don’t believe in God because of them. They feel you say do this but you do the exact opposite of what you say. It’s different if you fall short of his glory every blue moon because we are not perfect and neither am I verses, willingly and knowingly committing sin which is just like spitting in God’s face. God says in his word:
Galatians 5:9
“A little yeast works its way through the whole batch of Dough.”
This verse is proven by how the world responds to Christians and their actions. If you sin even just a little it will affect the whole body of believers because we all together make up the body of Christ. It will also affect the unbelievers and new believers. If You profess the word of God and share it with others, then correct and rebuke them but your deeds are the same as theirs all the time. Well isn’t there something wrong with that picture? When it comes to faith we have to grow spiritually not become stagnant.

I encourage you all to make some changes in your lives Read Proverbs 31:10-31 and aspire to the Godly woman God talks about in the verses. He tells you how to be beautiful and successful as a woman in those verses. Let’s all take a stand and stand firm in our faith and change the way society and our daughters and sons view of us. Let’s raise and mentor Godly, classy and respectable young women, and let’s show our men what type of woman they should have and marry if that is in God’s will for them.
