Quote Of The Day

“To Feel sorry for the needy is not the mark of a Christian — to help them is” – Walk Thru The Bible

Too many Christians proclaim the name of Christ but their deeds are not of the one who they proclaim. How many times have you walked past a homeless person and didn’t give them something, whether it was a quarter or going to by them a meal because you no cash on you? Many people without realizing it will loan money or give money to a friend or a family member before they would a homeless person on the street.

God says In James 1: 22 ” Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

How many times does it day to help others in the bible or to love your neighbor as yourself? Too many to count right. if you were in the same predicament as a homeless person would appreciate it if someone bought you some food, gave you clothes or some money right?

Well ” If you really keep the law found in scripture. ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’, you are doing right.” – – James 2:8

Those homeless people are your neighbors, so help them in any way you can. There are plenty of charities as well that you can donate to, to help or create one of your own.

“Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in the mirror and after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.” – James 1:23,24
